• Measure cable to be replaced from tip to tip and round up to the next foot to obtain correct length
• For new outboard installations – measure cable routing path, round up to the nest foot and then add 4 feet for loop at engine to prevent kinking
• For new inboard or stern drive installations measure cable routing path and round up to the next even foot
